We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• Personalize your learning experience, including tracking progress and adapting AI-generated content (e.g., OSCE feedback and targeted MCQs).
• Process transactions and send related information, including purchase confirmations and invoices.
• Improve, troubleshoot, and analyze the usage of our Service.
• Communicate with you regarding updates, security alerts, and support messages.

3. AI Processing and Data Usage

Medwin utilizes artificial intelligence models to process your inputs, generate practice scenarios (OSCEs), evaluate your answers, and create summaries or flashcards from your uploaded documents. We do not use your personally identifiable information (PII) to train public AI models. Your uploaded content is processed solely to provide educational features directly to you and is temporarily processed by our secure AI service providers under strict data processing agreements.

4. Payment Information

If you purchase a subscription (e.g., Medwin Pro or Medwin Max), your payment is processed by third-party payment processors (such as Paystack, Apple App Store, or Google Play). We do not collect or store your full credit card number or billing details on our servers. Please refer to the privacy policies of these third-party processors for information regarding their data practices.

5. Sharing Your Information

We may share your information in the following situations:

• Service Providers: We may share data with vendors, consultants, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf (e.g., cloud hosting, AI processing APIs).
• Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information where required to do so by law or subpoena or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition, your information may be transferred.

Our Service is designed for medical students and healthcare professionals. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our servers immediately.
